As Head of P&L Financial & Enabling Services at Telefonica Germany, Martin Schurig,is responsible for enabling third parties to do business with the customer base of Telefonica Germany. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes A2P messaging products like SMS and RCS, carrier billing and app distribution services. In addition, he is taking care of the monetization of network APIs and in this role is responsible for the Open Gatway initiative at Telefonica Germany.

Martin is with Telefonica Germany since 2005 and held various positions in product management and business development in recent years. He was mainly responsible for the set-up of the financial and enabling services business unit of Telefonica Germany and led various initiatives in that area.
